Dourena’s Review

Written by Dourena from the sources under See the Research. No brand paid for this review or approved it. How Dourena makes money

What Stands Out

  • Chest-only leash attachment, designed for dogs that pull.
  • Four adjustment points, with quick-snap shoulder and belly straps.
  • The belly strap is a contrasting color, to help you put it on the right way.
  • PetSafe’s sizing chart goes by chest width, girth and approximate weight.

Things to Know

  • One leash point, at the chest — there is no back clip.
  • A lightweight design with limited body coverage.
  • PetSafe says the martingale loop’s gradual pressure stops pulling, and that the harness rests across the chest rather than the throat. These are the brand’s claims.
  • PetSafe’s product page does not state where it is made.
