Dourena Quick Take

A 168 oz plug-in fountain with a free-falling stream and two filters, model PWW00-13703. Most of the commitment is upkeep: PetSafe says to clean it at least once a month and replace the filter every 2–4 weeks.

Dourena’s Review

Written by Dourena from the sources under See the Research. No brand paid for this review or approved it. How Dourena makes money

What Stands Out

  • Adjustable flow, from a submersible pump.
  • PetSafe says the bowl, filter housing and lid are dishwasher safe, top rack only.
  • For cats, dogs or multiple pets, per PetSafe.

Things to Know

  • It needs an outlet nearby; the footprint is 15.8 × 10.3 × 10.0 in.
  • PetSafe says to rinse the filter with water only, never with soap or in the dishwasher.
  • Replacement filters are an ongoing purchase.

What We Couldn’t Verify

  • We haven’t reviewed the user manual’s safety section.
  • We didn’t find where it’s made.

What to Consider

  • Is there an outlet where your dog drinks?
  • Will you keep to a 2–4 week filter schedule?
