Dourena’s Review

Written by Dourena from the sources under See the Research. No brand paid for this review or approved it. How Dourena makes money

What Stands Out

  • A wide size range: chest 14 to 44 in, in 5/8″ and 1″ webbing.
  • Swiss velvet lining and stainless steel hardware, per 2 Hounds.

Things to Know

  • 2 Hounds says to measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
  • The 5/8″ Medium is listed for dogs under 40 lb.
  • Care, per 2 Hounds: machine wash on gentle in a pillowcase, or hand wash in cold water; always air dry.

What We Couldn’t Verify

  • 2 Hounds rates the webbing at 3800 lb test strength but doesn’t say how that figure was tested on the pages we reviewed.
  • We didn’t find a warranty, or where it’s made, on the pages we reviewed.

What to Consider

  • Will you clip at the front, the back, or both?
  • What is your dog’s chest measurement?
  • Is a martingale-style back loop what you want for your walks?
