Dourena Quick Take

An enzyme-based cleaner for urine, feces and vomit on carpets, floors, furniture and fabrics. Its directions are built around waiting: 30–60 minutes on new stains, and at least an hour on deep odors before drawing the liquid out with a weighted towel.

Dourena’s Review

Written by Dourena from the sources under See the Research. No brand paid for this review or approved it. How Dourena makes money

What Stands Out

  • Directions for three situations: new stains, deep odors and laundry.
  • Two sizes: a 32 oz spray or a gallon.
  • A short ingredient list: water, a biological blend, a surfactant and fragrance.

Things to Know

  • Rocco & Roxie doesn’t recommend using it in a steam cleaner, because high heat can deactivate the biological ingredients.
  • Pre-test for color fastness on a hidden area first, per the directions.
  • For laundry, the directions say to apply it to the affected area, wait 30 minutes, then wash as usual.

What We Couldn’t Verify

  • Rocco & Roxie’s page doesn’t itemize the “Advanced Biological Blend” or the fragrance.

What to Consider

  • Do you usually reach for a steam cleaner?
  • Can you leave a spot for an hour or more while it works?
